Choosing to enter a residential program is a courageous step toward independence. At Her Haven Homes, we provide more than just a bed; we provide a supportive community designed to help you and your children heal and grow.
Our residency program is specifically designed for:
Women and Mothers: Seeking a safe, drug-free environment to rebuild their lives.
Families in Transition: We prioritize keeping mothers and their children together in a nurturing space.
Growth-Oriented Individuals: Women ready to engage in our Three Pillars (Mental, Spiritual, and Physical health) and the Woman Life Skills initiative.
The Living Environment
Private Accommodations: Each family or individual is provided with a dignified, private space to call their own.
Shared Community: Common areas for cooking, dining, and gathering are designed to foster the "Sisterhood" philosophy.
Stabilization Support: From the moment you arrive, we focus on your immediate safety and peace of mind.
Your Commitment
Residency is a partnership. To ensure the success of everyone in the home, residents agree to:
Engage in Growth: Participate in weekly coaching and life-skills workshops.
Community Contribution: Assist with light household chores and attend weekly house meetings.
Safe Haven Policy: Maintain a 100% drug and alcohol-free lifestyle while on the premises.
Submit an Inquiry: Fill out the initial residency form below.
Initial Interview: Meet with a member of She Strong Services team to discuss your needs and our program fit.
Intake Assessment: A deeper dive into your mental, spiritual, and physical goals.
Welcome Home: If accepted, we coordinate your move-in date and provide you with a "Haven Welcome Kit."
How long can I stay? Residency is transitional. We work on a 6-to-12 month model, though timelines are adjusted based on individual progress toward permanent housing.
Is there a cost? We operate on a sliding scale based on income. However, no woman is turned away solely due to a lack of funds during her initial stabilization phase.
Can I bring my pet? We review pet requests on a case-by-case basis to ensure the safety and comfort of all residents and children in the home.
