The Her Haven Homes Youth Impact Initiative is a structured leadership and volunteer program designed for high school juniors and seniors who want to make a difference while gaining real-world experience. Through service, mentorship, and leadership development, students earn verified volunteer hours while learning the value of giving back to their community.
This initiative prepares young people not just for graduation—but for life beyond high school.
Program Overview
The Youth Impact Initiative provides meaningful volunteer opportunities that allow students to actively support Her Haven Home's mission of empowering young women transitioning into independence. Participants engage in hands-on service projects, community outreach, and event support while developing leadership, responsibility, and confidence.

The Youth Impact Initiative is open to:
High school juniors and seniors
Students seeking volunteer hours for graduation, scholarships, or service organizations
Youth who are committed to professionalism, service, and positive community involvement
All participants must complete an application and submit parent/guardian consent forms.

Youth Impact Initiative volunteers may assist with:
Community events and outreach initiatives
Donation organization and preparation
Preparing welcome kits and care packages
Event setup and breakdown
Administrative and support tasks
All activities are age-appropriate and supervised by Her Haven Homes leadership.
Program Expectations
Program Expectations
Youth Impact Initiative volunteers are expected to:
Attend scheduled volunteer activities on time
Maintain respectful, professional behavior
Follow instructions from Her Haven staff and supervisors
Accurately log and verify volunteer hours
Represent Her Haven positively in all settings
Failure to meet program expectations may result in removal from the initiative.
